Not your average handyman.
Most handyman companies can hang a shelf or patch drywall. Circuit & Saw does that too — but we're built for the jobs other companies turn down.
Robert holds a degree in Electronics Engineering and an MBA, backed by 8+ years of project management experience and a background in the U.S. Navy. He learned the trade hands-on, working construction under his grandfather. That combination means every job — from a dripping faucet to a full smart home integration — gets handled with the same level of precision.
If you've got a project that's a little outside the box — networking, automation, a custom build, a problem nobody else seems to know how to solve — that's exactly where we shine.
No project is too small. No project is too technical.

Built on Discipline. Backed by Experience.
Circuit & Saw started with a simple idea: North County homeowners deserve a handyman they can actually trust — someone who shows up, explains things clearly, and does the work right the first time.
Robert brings an unusual mix to every job site: the technical training of an engineer, the project management instincts of an MBA, the discipline of the Navy, and the hands-on craftsmanship of someone who grew up on a construction crew. It's a combination that's hard to find — and it's exactly why clients call him for the jobs other handymen pass on.
You should count yourself very lucky if you get to hire Robert as your handyman.
He saved our butt multiple times over with finishing so many projects needed before we listed our house for sale and had an open house. He worked early, late, around kids and dogs. He worked around my changing ideas and me ordering the wrong thing a couple of times. He did it all with a sense of humor and understanding of a busy family life. We are only sad that we are moving away and won't get to see each other anymore! My house sold in 2 days, over list price in part to the updates that Robert did- new chandeliers, closet doors, beautiful front door, bathroom vanities, kitchen upgrades. All great work.
Put in a request for a new outlet for an electric bidet.
Tldr; he's honest, clean, clear, and professional.
Love Robert! Let's skip over that it was fun to hangout with him while he was doing the job and get to to work detials:
Clean: He came in with his own booties and mini-shop vac-- left the space cleaner than he found it. Which I've never experienced before.
Clear: He kept me informed about his steps and made sure I was okay with what he was about to do. He also filled me in on stylistic choices for location and position.
Professional: He was also super professional. You can see the attention to detail and risk mitigation as he works. He drilled a small hole (that he later closed) where it wouldnt be noticed so that he can see what's inside the wall (fiber optic camera). Then filled me in on my options based on what he saw.
Honest: Finally, he rivised his assessment DOWN after the job was done cause the initial assessment was assuming a greater difficulty. That's integrity and honesty at its finest.
Hire him! You'll end up with a new friend and a reliable handyman.
Robert from Circuit and Saw was absolutely amazing and a pleasure to work with.
My wife and I needed help mounting a 70” tv and Robert did a great job securing the mount and using laser-like precision to safely and professionally mount the tv above our fireplace. His attention to detail, broad knowledge, and customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend him for any job no matter how big or small. We were very pleased with the results and his prices were very fair. Strongly recommend working with this company!
I recently hired Robert to ground an outlet for my car and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. He demonstrated professionalism and an impressive level of expertise.
In addition to the excellent service, the pricing was more than fair and transparent. He offered a great balance of quality and affordability, which is hard to come by these days. I appreciated that there were no hidden costs, and the overall value was outstanding.
I highly recommend Circuit and Saw!
Have you ever had a project you needed help with but didn't know who to call because it was completely out of the box?
For example, setting up an entire smart home system and integrating it with a home server, custom shelves or a creative solution for a problem that might even include 3D printing a part?
My long-time friend Robert whom I've known since my early Navy days is launching a unique Handyman business in the Escondido/ San Diego area.
In addition to typical Handman services, he's offering a bridge between traditional services that I think is highly needed
There's no one I'd trust more to handle a tech upgrade, a custom installation, a smart home setup or any of the creative out-of-the-box services that he offers than Robert. He's a problem-solver and he does things the right way.
Save his contact information for when you need a custom project done right!
